      Seven-year-old Louisiana Champion  MSW MONTE MAN - OWNS the Costa Rising Stakes! He won it in 2018 and  then again yesterday. Last year he was 2nd.  In addition he has won 6 other stakes for owner Ivery Sisters Racing, breeder Val C. Murrell and trainer Ron Faucheux.. He rated in the 3 path until asked and then he cleared for the win by a length traveling 5 1/2 fulongs on the grass at the Fair Ground.

      HEY GRACE, a 3 year old filly owned by  Chris Klein and trained by Merlin Marechalcame 4 or 5 wide from off the pace and had the lead by the top of the stretch to go on for the win by 3 1/2 lengths. She was making her first start going 5 1/2 furlongs at the Fair Grounds.Hey Grace was bred by  Kirk L. Harris & Gillian Harris.

      LETITHAPPENCARLOS broke his maiden at the Fair Grounds in January, then ran second in allowance company and today wired the field to win his first allowance condition.       KUSTOM FOR KARL (f, 3, Custom for Carlos--Quadriga, by Grand Slam) found some traffic a quarter-mile from home in her course-and-distance debut Jan. 11 and ran with credit to be fourth. With the in-form Umberto Rispoli at the controls, the Louisiana-bred was pressed along up front by even-money Rakassah (Ire) (Night of Thunder {Ire}), was able to put that one away nearing the midstretch marker and sprinted clear to graduate by 3 1/4 widening lengths. Quadriga produced a clot by Hard Spun in 2019 and was bred back to Half Ours. Sales history: $25,000 Ylg '18 KEESEP.

      In December of 2019,  WHACUDPOSBLYGOWRNG showed that despite something going wrong at the break - a bump - he could overcome that and go on to graduate at the Fair Grounds racing 6 furlongs and winning by 6 1/4 lengths. He was claimed out of his race and has added a win for his new connections trainer Eduardo Rodriguez and owner Ismael Thoroughbreds, LLC, Racing 5 1/2 furlongs, he rallied and won by 1 1/2 for his second win in 5 starts.

      TENSAS TODDY was much the best breaking his maiden at Delta Downs earlier this month. He wired the field racing 6 1/2 furlongs to win by almost 10 lengths!  He followed that today with win #2 again in wire to wire fashion going a mile on the dirt again at Delta Downs to make it 2 in a row! The newly turned 4-year-old gelding is owned by  Mott Racing and trained by  Becky J. LeBlanc. He was bred by  Curt Leake.

      SLITHER did not live up to his name. He did not slither, instead, he wired the field sprinting to graduation in a MSW at Delta Downs. He is a homebred for  Gulf Haven Farms, LLC and is trained by Ronnie P. Ward.

      TENSAS TODDY was much the best breaking his maiden at Delta Downs. He wired the field racing 6 1/2 fulrongs to win by almost 10 lengths! The newly tyrned 4 year old gelding is owned by  Mott Racing  and trained by  Becky J. LeBlanc. He was bred by  Curt Leake.

      KAI BABY KAI has been on the board in all 6 of his lifetime starts and got the job done today breaking his maiden racing a mile and seventy in a MSW at the Fair Grounds. He overcame a bump at the start and raced three wide just off the pace. He hit the front in the stretch and won by 1 3/4 lengths. The 3 year old gelding is owned by Respect the Valleys, LLC  and is trained by  Albert M. Stall, Jr.. He was bred by  Love Partnership Interests.


      Louisiana Champion and MSW MONTE MAN raced just off the pace and then cleared for the win - his 13th in 37 starts. He has upped his earnings well over half a million. He raced to victory at the Fair Grounds sprinting 5 1/2 furlongs. On the same card GEM OF CARLOS broke his maiden in his second start for owner Fountain Grass Thoroughbred Farm while at Delta Downs, WILDABOUT AUDREY grduated in a MSW for  BMS Racing Stable.

    • MIA O MAYA by CUSTOM FOR CARLOS wins her 3rd

      MIA O MAYA raced forwardly and won an allowance race going a mile at Delta Downs. She raced forwardly just off the leader and then cleared for the win. The 3-year-old filly was bred by Jason Hall (LA) and is trained by Samuel Breaux for owners Ricky and Nadine Lagrange. She has earned just short of $100,000.
